Canadian privacy laws define “personal information” broadly as information about an identifiable individual or information that allows an individual to be identified, including a person’s name, address, postal code, telephone number, e-mail address, and birth date among others. In general, “personal information” does not include business contact information: your title or business address, telephone or facsimile number.
